Bicycle Tube Keeps Going Flat
And it finally held the pressure.
Bicycle tube keeps going flat. Installed the tube and pumped it all up. If i pump it up now it can hold the air for about 30 minutes to an hour before it s totally flat. The flat stop liners go between the tube and tire and offer a great deal of puncture resistance. Or so i thought.
There s probably something wrong with your tire wheel or the way you are putting a new tube into the tire. Good tube keeps going flat. I used a cement patch kit and the tube seems to inflate well but whenever i put it back in the wheel and start riding the tire. So pumped it up again and its holding but it has lost some air.
So i brought new tube and got repair kit for future use. It is normal for a tube to lose air over a period of weeks. Flat tires can be divided into four groups for all tires and a fifth which applies only to tubeless tires. Be careful when attaching removing the pump head.

Go for the well known reliable inner tube and tires brands such as kenda continental rocket maxxis or vittoria. When the tire s flat and i m first inflating i grab thumb n forefinger across the fat body of the tire and pinch tightly to hold the tube and valve in place while securing the pump head. My back tire got flat. The smooth valve makes it easier to use your air pump whenever it s needed.
It is nearly impossible to get a flat with a flat stop liner installed in your bicycle tire s. I took out the inner tube yesterday pump in a bit air and put it into water trying to find a hole but couldn t find anything. Bike tyre keeps going flat but no puncture. Went for a ride and it did last but overnight it went again.
Make sure the valve hole in your rim tape is aligned to protect the tube from the valve hole edges. Slow leaks take long enough to go flat that the bicycle may actually be ridden but the tire will need to be pumped up more often than it should. I keep getting flat tire after flat tire and i can t really figure out why.
